An original illustration by Jason Abadi, adapted from a hand-drawn sketch into a finished piece for The Archive Collection.
SERAPHIM presents a cascading form of overlapping eyes — organic, watchful and almost angelic in its strangeness. Repeated ocular forms emerge from sweeping hand-drawn shapes against a stark crimson field, suggesting a being whose perception extends in every direction.
The finished piece preserves the irregular linework and raw character of Jason’s original drawing, developed in a limited palette of bone, black and deep crimson with a distressed, timeworn finish.
Available as a 5" × 7" art print and a large-format 24" × 36" poster.
