SERAPHIM presents a cascading form of overlapping eyes — organic, watchful and almost angelic in its strangeness. Repeated ocular forms emerge from sweeping hand-drawn shapes against a stark crimson field, suggesting a being whose perception extends in every direction.
The finished piece preserves the irregular linework and raw character of Jason’s original drawing, developed in a limited palette of bone, black and deep crimson with a distressed, timeworn finish.
